Get Along Little Doggies

This past weekend we headed to historical downtown Garland for the Wild West Roundup.
And per Cinco's request....More Zoey!!

Someone is happy to see that Uncle Mike and Grandma are back from their NY trip.
So after our hello's it was time to head to the Roundup.

Here we have a smiling cowgirl with her brand new Stetson...."Yeehaw!!"

Later on we found some Cowboys who didn't mind a little company.

Here we see our Cowgirl trying to rope a steer....

Success!!

After roping a steer she decides to jump on her trusty steed and head on down the road.

"Why are we not moving? Did I leave the parking break on?"

Of course you can't have a festival without a face painter.

And here is our finished art work.

While Zoey was getting her face painted our baby cowgirl was showing Grandma how to do the sitting Texas two-step.

"Hey big sis, you're not the only one who looks cute with a cowboy hat on."

Well it's time to go and someone decides to ham it up for the camera on the way to the car.

"Peace out..."

The Super Mega Awesome Post

Hello everyone. This post is going to have a few pics so I hope you enjoy.

Time for a little bit of fun. Let's start with the game "let's see how everything on this thing tastes."

Someone decides to make a hand cameo. "Hey what's going on? I feel a strange presence behind me...."

After all the fun it's time for a nap. Apparently all that is needed is her Ellie and a spot under Grandma's arm.

Later that week we take a road trip to mom and dad's soccer game. Someone just woke up from a nap and is still trying to figure out what's going on.

"Hey Uncle Mike, what's up. Do you know where we are headed?"
It was a tough game as the Fusion was unable to pull out the victory. Unfortunately I was carrying the girl the whole game so there are no pictures during the game, which is probably a good thing.

"So they lost huh....well at least you didn't have to do any diaper changes during the game Uncle Mike."

Of course there was no need to dwell on the negative and it was time to liven things up, so big sis helps to put a smile on Pearly Sue on the way home.

Let's get a close up of that great smile.

Still not close enough.

There we go, that's much better.

After the game it was time to go home and eat.
Here we see Zanna Banana getting ready to chow down.

"Alright Grandma I'm in the chair, got the tray, and the bib is on. Make with the grub."

See the concentration on the face. Playtime is definately over.

"Keep it coming Grandma, I'm not done yet."

If you pay close attention you will see that not one drop of food was wasted. Nothing like a clean tray and bib.

Finally a Texas Hold 'Em tournament was held to benefit Zoey's soccer team. Your's truly came in third place. What do you think about that Suzanna?

"Huh?...did you say something.........."

"....zzzzzzzzzzz....."

Well that's it for this post.
Hope you enjoyed it. I will leave you with this final pic of Suzanna.

"Aha!!"

A post dedicated to the greatest pastime aside from Baseball...

Need I say more...

Happy Belated Birthday!!!

I realize this is really late, but we've been busy...deal with it :)
So April 17th, 2009, marked the 8th Birthday of one Zoey "Poey" Lopez!! To commemorate the momentus occasion, Mom and Dad hired Zoey's soccer coaches to bring and operate a bounce house, and invited plenty o' children to join Zoey in her day of aging with food and merriment.
Here is Zoey opening her present from Hama and Grandpa...it's a Razor Scooter!!!

Notice the huge Hannah Montana pinata in the background that seemed like it weighed 50 lbs.

The bounce house was a huge success...

and as it is well known in the Lopez household, nobody loves a bounce house more then Mom!!

You will notice cousin Sabrina and the frizzy haired cousin Chaney.

Mom was so looking forward to this even before we had the baby. :)

We would like to thank all the family, even though they are not pictured here, for coming, and thank Coach Tony and Coach Lidia for finally showing with the bounce house :p
Can't wait until both Lopez girls can bounce as one!!!
